For ULPower engines with a serial number lower than 250000
• TBO is 1500 hours or 12 years (whatever comes first)
• For UL260i(S)a, UL350i(S)a, UL390i(S)a, UL520i(S)a and UL520T : TBO is 1200 hrs or 12 years (whatever comes first).
For engines with a serial number higher than 250000
• TBO is 2000 hrs or 12 years (whatever comes first)
• For aerobatic engines and turbocharged engines such as UL260i(S)a, UL350i(S)a, UL390i(S)a, UL520i(S)a, UL52T : TBO is limited to 1500 hrs or 12 years(whatever comes first) .
Apart from the normal maintenance (as described in our maintenance manual), no additional maintenance is required.
TBO values are ULPower recommendations for overhaul intervals; they are not mandatory unless your operating regulations require it
